Of 78 food businesses with Marietta addresses inspected Sept. 5 to Oct. 4, 66 hold an A, nine a B and three a C. How scores work: 770-435-7815.

Last checked Oct. 5, 2026. Scores come from the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Cobb County inspection database, searched Oct. 5, 2026. An inspection score is a snapshot of conditions on the day of the inspection. It is not a rating of food quality, and a lower score does not mean anyone became ill.

Cobb County Environmental Health, part of Cobb and Douglas Public Health, inspects and permits restaurants, school cafeterias, food trucks and other food service businesses across the county, including Marietta. Each inspection gets a score out of 100 and a letter grade, and the results are public in the state’s online database.

How Georgia grades restaurants

Grade Score
A 90 to 100
B 80 to 89
C 70 to 79
U (unsatisfactory) 69 or less

Inspectors follow the Georgia Department of Public Health’s food service rules (Chapter 511-6-1), which Cobb and Douglas Public Health publishes on its food service page along with the Cobb County Board of Health’s own rules. The database lists each inspection separately, so a follow-up inspection appears as its own dated entry.

Method

We searched the Cobb County database by city (“Marietta”), food service inspections only, for Sept. 5 to Oct. 4, 2026, and took each establishment’s latest result. The database matches on mailing address, and a Marietta mailing address covers much of unincorporated east and west Cobb County, so many of these establishments are outside the city limits. School cafeterias are included because the county inspects them as food service establishments. We report scores as the database shows them and add no judgment of our own. A business that wants to note a follow-up inspection not yet in the database can contact us.
