We summarize notices so you can find the ones that affect you.

Where the official notices are

The Georgia Press Association’s 2026 list of legal organs (PDF) names the Marietta Daily Journal as Cobb County’s legal organ, the newspaper where the county’s official legal notices are published.

The Cobb County Tax Commissioner says on its property FAQ page that properties in each tax sale are advertised in the Marietta Daily Journal’s real estate section on Fridays for four weeks before the sale. Sales are held on the first Tuesday of each month with a sale, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., on the Superior Courthouse steps at Flournoy Park. For tax sale questions, call the Tax Commissioner’s levy department at 770-528-8623.
