Welcome to Marietta. The first thing to know is whether your new home is inside the city limits. A Marietta mailing address does not settle it, and the answer decides your power company, your trash service, your school district and your tax bills. Look up the address on the city’s property search tool, or on Cobb County’s qPublic site, where a tax district of “(4) MARIETTA” means the city.
